Ghana’s Technical University Leaders Endorse ARC-EDS: A Strategic Platform for Partnership and Transformation

The upcoming Africa Regional Conference & Exhibition on Education and Skills Development (ARC-EDS 2025) has received a significant endorsement from Ghana’s higher education leadership, marking a major milestone in the lead-up to the event.

On April 6, 2025, ESDEV Foundation Africa was invited to present the 2025 ARC-EDS vision at the 23rd Regular Meeting of the Vice-Chancellors of Technical Universities of Ghana (VCTU-G) in Elmina. This high-level engagement brought together Vice-Chancellors and Registrars from across Ghana’s public technical universities, creating a unique opportunity to align the conference’s objectives with national priorities in skills development, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

In a presentation delivered by Ms. Sarah Osei, Programmes and Communication Lead, the 2025 ARC-EDS  was positioned as a transformative platform that bridges academia, industry, and policy to drive collaborative solutions to Africa’s most pressing education and employment challenges. The Vice-Chancellors expressed strong enthusiasm for the event’s focus on student and faculty-led exhibitions, strategic dialogue, and international networking, as well as its alignment with emerging frontiers such as Quantum Science and Technology under the global International Year of Quantum 2025 initiative.

The endorsement from VCTU-G underscores the growing recognition of ARC-EDS as more than just a conference – it is a continental convening designed to unlock innovation, foster partnerships, and catalyze systemic change across Africa’s education and skills landscape.

ESDEV Foundation Africa welcomes the interest and collaboration of global development partners, academic institutions, industry actors, and governments as we build a collective vision for the 2025 ARC-EDS.Join us in co-creating an Africa where education powers opportunity, and innovation drives inclusion.
